Deliver Me From People

In our daily prayer we say the words “deliver us from evil”. But today my prayer is, “deliver us from people”.  We need to be delivered from allowing people to influence outcomes. There are times when we need to be delivered from the need to please, the need to entertain, and the need to be liked. Don’t get me wrong, we should support relationships, however, sometimes we allow the needs listed above to detour or direction. Today’s prayer Lord search us as in Psalm 139. Help us to follow after you and not after people.
