It May Never Come

The ground looks good; you planted seeds, and watered every day.  Time passes and nothing. No sign of weeds, buds or anything. There was never a harvest from that crop. This sad agricultural failure teaches us that we will not always yield the harvest we expect. The children of Israel told Jeremiah “we will not listen to your message from the Lord” Jeremiah 44:16. But Jeremiah continued to speak the words of the Lord. When you know you are doing what you are called; if the harvest never comes you have to continue. Don’t give up. It may never come.
