Understand, Then Respond

When faced with conflict, most people, instead of trying to resolve the issue have accepted the philosophy: "I can do bad by myself.” However, the reality is that a loving and merciful God who desires for us to get along designed us. Conflicts will come. The question is, how do we survive conflict and remain in relationship with each other? We can do that first by understanding our enemy. In the movie the Ender's Game, A. E. Wiggins said, “When I understand my enemy well enough to defeat him, then in that moment, I also love him.”
